New moderator (and upload facility)

There's a new moderator who's replacing MrTomServo and that's 'Charlie Wells' so I'd just like to say thanks for agreeing to be a mod and hope everything goes well!

And just a reminder from the previous announcement thread:

This is much the same as MrTomServo's service, except:

> no limitation on type of file you can upload
> 8mb file size limit
> no picture size limit

To keep a file on the server, prefix it 'KEEP-' eg: 'KEEP-filename'.

Please feel free to use this service as you wish - but please don't do anything with it that will get me into trouble with my isp.

Oh no. Beth is rather tame compared to Neil Wilkes. Confused

So, how did Charlie get into the seat of power then? Was he picked at random? Did he say he wanted to become a mod? etc.

There are a few people on here who I'd be more than happy to see as fourth mod but I noticed Charlie was someone who was regularly on the site with a genuine interest in what is being talked about here and who flagged up numerous RTPs over time.

i cannot believe it - i have been over looked for this position again. i feel i have hit the forum glass ceiling.

the bit about charlie being an enthusiastic "report a post"er doesn’t look too promising does it?

let the character assassination begin, i mean, we cant like our mods at tvforum can we?

Don't worry, I only 'report a post' when needed, my recent reports have been in blatent cases were the threads have subsequently been locked or deleted (therefore not just my opinion). I tend to be fairly relaxed in terms of moderating in that I don't go about locking threads for the sake of it.
