New look Mornings on Channel 4 Television

Just curious, When Big Bro 5 starts, do folk think its likely that it will be on 4 in the mornings and not just E4? Or will 4 in the morning show BBLB and the main 10pm show from the night before again? Just wondering.
I think that's highly likely. The Friday shows were repeated during T4 the following Sat/Sun - there are loads of people who always caught the 1am repeat during the last series.

I hope there's a bit of news too - at 7 and 8 maybe. Probably will be a clock as it'll probably get a branded strand of its own (T4 Breakfast, anyone?) - as I speak there's a clock on BBC1, BBC2 (CBBC), GMTV, 4, BBC News 24, Sky News, even VH1... practically every channel really.

in my opinion bringing back thwe big breakfast will still get better viewing figures than rise and **** friends repeats it is a cheap way out and c4 will suffer give it yanothger year and c4 will bring back the bb itb was a crime to get rid of it in the first oplace
here in germany i watch frühstucks tv basically gmtv but not as annoying and the prestenters are quite good (dont understad them all the time tho well it is german!
germany doesnt have a big breakftas tv output as they all get to work for 8am!

OMG - never considered that...I thought the idea of breakfast TV was to wake people up not send them back to sleep?

People speak about the Big Breakfast and RI:SE as if it was RI:SE that lost the ratings. It was actually the Big Breakfast who made channel 4's ratings plummet in the end and RI:SE just hasn't increased them again as it was hoped to yet. RI:SE is slated because of how it started (mk1 &2) but i think it is great now, something different and lighthearted compared to everything else. It should be given another year and some promotion to prove itself.

That's not quite true. At the time the BB bowed out it was on 400,000 a day. When RI:SE started that figure soon dropped to 200,000, and even later dropped to 100,000. It is only recently that RI:SE has reached the ratings which the BB had towards its end.

Yeah, it didn't come across clear what I was getting at. The fact is that the ratings are RI:SING (excuse the pun) even if it is slow progress but it just seems that after a bad year and a half ,it's been really good recently, with ratings going up. The point I was trying to make was if Channel 4 don't want to spend the money making it if that's as high as the viewers are going to go, fair enough, but now it's found it's feet i just think they should give it another year to see if it continues to develop before binning it.

Hopefully this will be a temporary measure while C4 find a NEW breakfast show while the pressures off.
