Thing to wonder....Does Gold use circle for closedown after relaunch?

After watching that video of the idents through, I am very impressed. It's refreshed the brand and given it some playfulness that viewers will be able to relate to.

I spotted a nice reference to the firework idents, I think the bottles exploding uses the noise.

The last one in that sequence reminds me of the break bumpers from the Big Breakfast.

Very nice rebrand! The logo reminds me a bit of 1990s Gold.

As nice as it is to see them steer away from the circle theme, it does make that closedown loop look a little less neat.

The rebrand of GOLD appears to have coincided with programmes for all UKTV channels disappearing from Sky On Demand Catch Up.

This is a shame really, especially as the UKTV programmes available there were all DOG-less (whereas in the past, programmes on Sky Anytime/Showcase always had a DOG).

I was using the service yesterday and all UKTV remained when did they stop?

DOGs doesn't bother me, do people have a real problem with them?

I suspect there is just a fault. The channels still appear in the 'Box Sets' section with content, but there is nothing in the 'Catch Up' area.

I think Sky would have removed the options if they weren't going to be available any longer. They are still promoting them on the website.
