What do you thinks of the new idents on GMTV this week?

Certainly better than the previous two sets.
The Newshour ident looks a bit cheap, with those two lines just flying across the screen, but Today looks quite good.
GMTV really does need to be a little less trivial. I can't cope with heavy news in the morning, not unless something pretty serious has happened. GMTV is different from the other broadcasters because it manages to mix serious news with light hearted feature items. But there does need to be a bigger emphasis on news.
Not, however, as big as the emphasis on the school 'crisis' in N. Ireland at the moment.
GMTV were going backwards and forwards every 7 mins or so to the school, at one point John Stapleton actually rolled his eyes (and looked quite annoyed) when Penny Smith said they would be going back to the school in the next 20 minutes.

I Like the new idents, I just wish the clock and the rest of the graphics would now change...they need to!

The new idents look much better than the ones before, but when will GMTV bosses look at Breakfast, it's the perfect example of a breakfast programme, the news set looks modern, great and first class, as does the soft area.
The GMTV bricks, fake plants and keyed gmtv news logo looks rubbish, I know the news 24 briefing is keyed but Breakfast looks so much better.
When will they relaunch! I love the idea I saw on the forum of it overlooking the south bank ie. like Today (US) looking at Time Square. The This Morning set would be a much better GMTV set...think about it!
