A new ident for Five this week, with a hint of Christmas (see if you can spot it). It's a bit of an Indiana Jones spoof, and the programme it's advertising? Head or Tails.

A 'proper' Christmas ident from FIVE - reminds me a little of an Easter ident on abc1.

It's very quirky - I love it!

Five are really churning out some good idents recently, I've got to say.

I like those even though the Heads or Tails ident is promoting a programme, which I'm against in principle, but the difference is that Five treat it as a bit of a laugh, as opposed to taking it very seriously. And I love JLC's hair.

Someone should've told ITV that this was the way to slap your best faces in front of the audience in an ident, not strutting around a set looking as though they were chatting to each other!

I think they have the best idents on TV at the moment. Ever since they got rid of those quirky films and incorporated the logo into the whole length of the ident sequence they've produced some really good ones. And I love the variety of them, animated, live action etc. Very good.

So true. This is much better way to have celebs in your ident. Even the BBC One themed ones like Ashes To Ashes show how it could and should be done.

There's a news variation of the Robins too, with super music.

Definitely the best out of this year's idents, in my opinion.

Yes, think they were having a few problems this lunchtime, not only did that news one go out without the announcer, the next ident was a bit unusual too. It wasn't one of the standard idents, was just the animating five logo, like you get as break bumpers, but a long version of it.
