Was watching Ice Road Truckers and during the credit squeeze, they were advertising Soho Blues and then a small Archie Daley and Jamie came out of one credit box and ran across the screen in which the announcer said: 'And I bet they're after Archie Daley.'

Five are really pulling out all the stops for Minder and this was an interesting way of doing so.

I'm gonna place my bets on Minder being an early contender for flop of the year - though as UK drama, certainly in peak-time, is pretty much an unknown quantity for Five it's difficult to know what kind of ratings they'd be expecting.

Is it right to find that pretty funny?

Surprised no-one else has mentioned, but there's been a Minder ident and several Minder breakbumpers and flahses, most of them with Shane Richie and Lex Shrapnel, but there is one with the Minder logo in place of the Five logo.

Although the FiveUSA DOG could do with being alittle more transparent, at least it's smaller than the huge Five US one!

Did they make new footage with the CSI cast just for the idents or cut it from episodes? I'm assuming the filler segments with that Russell bloke have been replaced too?

Wow, that really is exceptionally ordinary.

It's just so unimaginative, uninspiring and run-of-the-mill. A shame, as I think the presentation on Five itself is rather good.

Did anyone just see that? After WLIIA ended a scroller telling us about new shows was repeated for about 3 minutes over different clips of America.
