You're right. I never thought about that before.

The thing about these idents are no different to some of the idents of the past where there is a piece of film with a logo slapped over it. The only thing that stops them from being criticised is that pieces of film are well made and visually interesting.

Nice to see Five US getting a rebrand though the name change is slightly unnecessary. The channel has been successful but it's been stuck in a rut with the CSI reruns, Numb3rs reruns and films but hopefully adding new shows like The Beast and showing repeats of their other US shows like House and The Mentalist will boost their ratings.

With the new FIVE logo in uppercase, the US may not be seen as an acronym for the United States, but as the word us. With five in lowercase the large capital US is not as confusable.

Adding an A to the US stops that misunderstanding from happening...

Just one of those things because of the shape of the "A" , with the left side slanting away from the S.

Not a lot can be done, I'm afraid!

Is Five's DOG intentionally upside down during Neighbours? Never noticed it before (expect for the time they did it for the special programme before it started on five).
