the Hotdog Man promo seems like Five are trying to copy the success of the Cadbury Gorilla and Runway ad but TBH they should done a promo showcasing their shows like CSI or Paul Merton with the theme of 'We Are'.
As for the idents, I like them with the superhero one being my favourite though the fish one seems more E4 than Five. Will be interesting what other idents ideas pop out.
Didn't Five - well, Channel 5 back then, have a show a few years back which was basically Going for Gold in all but name.
Yes they did, presented by Robin Huston, can't for the life of me remember it's name now though

They had a Going For Gold - type quiz as part of 5's Company which then span off into a programme of its own. When it was on 5's Company it was presented by Steve Allen (better known as presenter on LBC)

Didn't they also have on called " Whittle " ( I think ) which was presented by Tim Vine? And this was a direct copy of ITV's Everybody's Equal which was presented by Chris Tarrant.
Not a 'copy', it was just Channel 5's version. It (along with Going For Gold and many others) is a format owned by the owners of Five
New look website online. No new look for Five US judging from the logos.
Which is ridiculous tbh. If they can be bothered to edit the Fiver pres with a new logo, surely it wouldn't take much to digitally remove the old Five logo from the Five US pres and replace it with the new one. Unless of course they have an upcoming refresh planned for Five US which isn't ready yet.
I'm pretty sure they're not bothering to update the Five US logo as there's a whole new look in the pipeline. Fiver's look is relatively new, so will be sticking around a fair while longer. Back when it was reported that Five was looking at rebranding, all three channels were mentioned, so it shouldn't be too long to wait.
The Fiver logo looks much better when it doesn't have the black box.
