naa it was still the the credits before this revamp it was behind the word "Crimewatch"

That sounds like the theme tune for a really bad Australian police drama.

The original theme is a classic.... bring it back! Has anyone any cotton wool?


It reminds me of the original theme for UK Today, does anyone agree?

i'm sure i'l get used to the new set but the theme is dreadful! it doesnt sound like it should, its to happy and drama like.

On the subject of cw, has Jacqui Hames left?

I can appreciate a set designer seeing something decent from another programme and wanting to incorporate it into theirs (i.e. the lightboxes) but the new tune is shocking! How did that pass quality control?! It just sounds like noise, especially considering there was nothing wrong with the previous version - it didn't sound outdated or anything.

Let's hope they see sense for next month.

It's terribly...techno. I'm not liking the new crimewatch; it seems to 'drag on' nowadays, with less reconstructions and so forth. Nice studio, though.

The new theme tune is dreadful. It doesn't sound anything like the original, which was a masterpiece IMHO. Bring it back.

Btw, is it me, or is crimewatch taking longer breaks. The next episode is in mid September. Used to be monthly.

The last one was a month ago. Maybe theres just a longer gap until the next one because of the summer.
