New Look Countdown

When Greggybaby gave us the exclusive of the new set a while back, I thought it looked shocking. But I think it's transferred better on screen than it did in those screen grabs. The purples and pinks don't seem all that bad and it looks a lot more polished.

I wonder if the blue rinse brigade will be happy though ? The old dears don't like change you know.

The new look seems to suit Richard Whitley doesn't it!

But he still managed to get a nicely clashing tie

It looks weird to me, I suppose after looking at a big set, this compact layout will be difficult to get use to!

They must have spent most of the bduget on reinforcing the floor to accommodate Whitely.

The titles have remained unchanged, appart from the pictures of Richard and Carol in the Opening Titles.

I love the new set, very modern, clean and good looking. Well done Countdown. I would like to say that I think the titles should be changed because they dont really match the new look, and the clock still has the Yorkshire Chevron looking things either side of it.

Here was me going to look through the forum to find those stills from the last thread... and then I remembered...

Guess I'll just have to remember to watch...
