I'm not sure we were on the subject, and I don't think they're at all snotty, especially when compared to some of the other contributors to that page!!

Some contributors can be annoying though. Like the ones who want Challenge to change an episode of a programme for another episode of the same programme just so they can re-record it in better quality. Confused Same with contributors who get in an hissy fit if episodes of a programme isn't show in the order it was originally shown.

Actually if you were paying attention the issues highlighted went beyond the spoken word, as portions of the music beds zoned in and out as well throughout the episode.

I think this was all part of the same problem caused by playing two audio tracks at the same time but not quite at exactly the same time. The left channel sounds fine and the right channel sounds fine but neither sound good when played over one another.

And also while we're on the subject I don't think your writing snotty comments like the one I've seen you put on Challenge's Facebook feed is going to do you any favours.

I don't believe the comments to be snotty. I was just pointing out what had happened. Anyway, Challenge[TV] seem to have removed my comments now. It will be interesting to see how this episode is broadcast next time.

A new commission for Challenge, as they announce "Timeline" to be presented by Brian Conley:

It's a positive step, I think commercially the route of bringing back old favourites for a couple of series at the time might be more successful.

But I'm glad Challenge are back to commissioning original stuff, the format sounds like it could easily be on BBC One or Channel 4 in the afternoon too.

I wonder if it'll be based on the following:

A quiz based on dates? No. The press release doesn't seem to mention anything like that.

I guess the budget from Challenge isn't too high! Very Happy

I'd have preferred them to commission another series of Stake Out.

I concur. I'm sure Anthony Davis would be available.
