Does anyone know why Challenge changed the opening titles to some episodes of Takeshi's Castle?

I'm not sure if you mean they've taken old episodes and added the newer titles. I know they started using the newer titles on newer episodes, but I've found that the newer titles are used in episodes that don't have the renamed Craig's Ridiculous Replay. Frankly, it's an unnecessary move if that's the case, because the newer titles are blatantly no match for the original.

It was done when VMTV ordered new masters with the VMTV production symbol at the end.

Challenge edited the Snake Charmer catchphrase to make it look less naughty.

Why didn't they change this one? (NSFW)

The 'press red' icon has changed today. It is now purple.

For some reason the press red application now has the old Challenge logo again. This was changed to the new one at the same time as the channel changed it's logo, they must be broadcasting an old version for some reason.

Please find the moment on BBC iPlayer or provide more details so that one may find the moment for ones self.

Thanks.

In other, unrelated news, it is the 200th edition of Pointless tomorrow on BBC One.

It was in the opening round when the answer Moulon Rouge was given and they stated it was release 10 years ago - or 14 years ago if you're watching the repeat on Challenge.
