I'm quite looking forward to this. I'm not sure if bingo on television works but this sounds interesting.

You've not seen it before? It's not bingo, it's a quiz show themed on bingo. The actual quiz mechanism is just the first to 15 right answers. The bingo element just provides the scoring.

It's a great quiz show. As mentioned above the same format has been done a couple of times since but neither have been as good as the original mostly because of the good job Bob Monkhouse did. It's probably his best quiz.

Have a look at the end round from the 1984 Christmas Special

Bob's Full House - every Saturday from 13th October @ 8pm, challenge made a mistake with the date.

Yes, Bob's Full House is brilliant, and indeed it isn't bingo on the telly just like Big Break wasn't a snooker tournament on the telly, the point of it is to answer questions. There's a great interview with Bob in the Radio Times from the week it was launched when he says the format went through thirteen different revisions and they'd worked harder on it than any game show he'd done before, to make it "upbeat" and "not at all sleazy" and to ensure that the contestants were seen to really deserve their prizes. And the whole appeal of it is Bob, I know that in the last series he stopped even being told anything about the contestants before he went on stage so the interviews could be completely spontaneous.

There was a fourth incarnation of Full House as well, One To Win with Andrew O'Connor, which started on BBC1 just eighteen months after Full House had finished, but O'Connor was a bit of an acquired taste and it was clearly too soon to revive it.

Challenge seem to be over doing it with the Iceland adverts. I counted four in one break during Strike It Rich!

Good to see Challenge showing 1987's Bullseye on Christmas Day today - this hasn't been shown for a while! They should show more older shows/series like this!

Sorry to reply to an old post, but who were the celebrity contestants on this episode?

Earlier tonight, ITV1 reported that Eric Bristow and Brian Conley took part. I don't remember Brian Conley being on Bullseye at all though.

Challenge[TV] now have a "Late Zone" with it's own ident[s]. It reminds me of Gladiators.

Good news, presumably that will also see Pick TV gain a Freesat channel position? And maybe even Sky News?

EDIT: Above confirmed just read the Sky Branding thread.
