The Crystal Maze will be shown in the place of this programme.
BTW, the first episode of Supermarket Sweep was shown on Challenge[TV] last night. Before the opening titles, the supermarket was officially opened by Ken Morley (Coronation Street's Reg Holdsworth).
I believe this will be shown again on Saturday at 10am if this sounds like something that would interest you.

Sadly due to unforseen circumstances, we are not going to be able to bring you Wrestle Talk TV this weekend as advertised. But we will update you the minute we know when it is due to start!

Here is a video of Ken Morley opening the Supermarket Sweep supermarket.
Other things that are different in the first episode include the fact that Dale Winton doesn't run and skid across the floor at the start of the episode like he does in more recent series, the contestants don't have to say "Dale" after each answer and at the end, Dale Winton says "Next time you are at the checkout and you hear the beep, think of the fun you could be having on Supermarket Sweep" on his own without the audience or contestants joining in.

There's a reason for this, apparently the producers said he shouldn't be camp because it would be too extreme for half nine in the morning and he should be a bland, identikit game show host, so as Dale said, he just stood there and it looked bloody awful. When it became established he was allowed to put more of his personality into it.

The 90s revival began in 1994, and that's what's on the endboards, so you're right.
The episode of play your cards right on challenge now, it sounds like it's the first series of the 90's revival?

Just watched an old episode of Bullseye and one of the contestants gave an answer to a bullys category board question of 'Steven Bishop' for Jim to say 'Well done, Mark Bishop is the correct answer, £50 to you'. So the contestant gave the wrong answer, Jim said it was right, when it wasn't, got the points which eventually got him to the next round. Was this sort of error common place on Bullseye?

The Going for Gold 1987/88 final was just on Challenge[TV]. You could catch it on Challenge[TV]+1 or the overnight repeat if that takes your fancy.
I don't understand why Challenge[TV] didn't promote this at all. This should have been advertising the final for the past week or so, I expect it will pick up more viewers due to it being a bank holiday (in some parts of the UK) anyway but I only caught it by chance. Even the pre-recorded CA over the credits didn't mention the importance of what we had just seen, she just mentioned something about wrestling.
