I wonder why they haven't shown the turkey episode? The UK Gameshows website says "The Late Bob Johnson" could this be the reason?

The second episode of Family Fortunes is the same as yesterdays first episode. It is the one where the large woman doesn't clap again.
Also, Challenge [TV] continuity problems have returned. The ident music faded before the first episode of Family Fortunes but there was no voice over. Yesterday, the CA made reference to Les Dennis before a Max Bygraves episode of Family Fortunes and before the second episode of Family Fortunes tonight the CA was played out over a promo for Sky One's Starlings before being played again over the ident.

I be honest nearly all the episode broadcast will have at least one member of said family will have died, I sure famous epsoide not till later on.
David is correct about tonight's second episode, it was on last night too. I remember the 752 total at the end and Max saying the total for next weeks show. Has someone gone on Jubilee celebrations too early?

Yes, I understand Bob Johnson and family asked Central to sign a 40 page contract before he would appear on Family Fortunes. He was such a jolly character that William G Stewart agreed to sign it because he thought it would be good for the programme. Clause 4.2.24 says "In the event of my death, the episode of Family Fortunes in which I appear should not be broadcast or repeated on Central, ITV or any niche gameshow channel(s) which may exist now or in the future".

"The first three questions in the round known as Big Money should be 1) Name any fat bird, 2) Something eaten at Christmas, 3)A country that is bordered by eight countries: Bulgaria to the northwest; Greece to the west; Georgia to the northeast; Armenia, Azerbaijan and Iran to the east; and Iraq and Syria to the southeast".

Given that Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia were not independent at the time and were part of the Soviet Union I expect you have been ill-informed.
QVC's Jilly Halliday is on Family Fortunes right now. Her name was Jill in those days. She was a dancer/model and she did some bad impressions of Max Bygraves and Dame Edna Everage. She won a celebration hamper filled with goodies.
3-2-1 is now being shown with audio description. Fantastic! This is the kind of high action programme that really benefits from it, unlike something like Blockbusters where the AD person hardly said a word. Good work Challenge [TV].
