I have been collecting details on Series 3 of Bullseye. Is this a project worth continuing?

Noticed a slight error....Grampion, is actually spelt - Grampian. Smile

And you've slipped into the classic mistake of using a spreadsheet (used for modelling/calculation) for a database.

Thank you for your kind words, although I am sensing some sarcasm. Also, don't confuse my voice with the voice Gane uses to read out my words. She is misrepresenting me by using a whining/monotonous voice when reading out my legitimate views and opinions.

Thank you for that correction. The spreadsheet has now been amended.

Although I would agree with you in principle, it annoys me when people use spreadsheet to represent complex data that would better suit a database, I don't think this data warrants a database at this stage.

Here it is in database format, it adds nothing...

No, I really do like it.

I very much enjoy a wide variety of voices.

Perhaps what you sense is wind. Have some tea or a mint.

Actually the way the question is worded and answer is wrong.....

Basically it should have asked in which Metropolitan Borough is Phoenix Nights set? then the answer would be Bolton.

As it stands the actual answer is Farnworth, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton. This is because Farnworth is a town, and not a suburb.

A fine example of this is Bolton Wanderers who actually play in Horwich, and not Bolton, although Horwich is in the Metropolitan Bourough of Bolton!

Another example being many see people Leigh as a town in its own right, when in fact it is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan.

Pedantic, I know, apologies..... Embarassed

So, should I just send the DVD back to Michael Holden or maybe contact BBC Panorama to see if they are interested in making 'All New TV's Dirty Secrets'?

I feel kind of guilty now.

Bullseye know how to ask questions. There was a nice one this evening, It was about looking up the STD code for calling West Germany. There was another question asking for a definition of translucent. The contestant said "You can see right through it". He was wrong.

Acker Bilk was the celebrity guest. I've not previously been aware of his work. He was certainly quite a character when he appeared on Bullseye. This was my favourite episode of this series so far.

I did spot a couple in the audience who were also there yesterday. How many episodes did they record in a day at this point in the shows history?

In other news, TV's Mark Labbett appeared on Classic Who Wants to be a Millionaire? this evening. I don't know how well he did, I only saw him messing up the Fastest Finger First round.

And Interceptor on the 14th. These really are exciting times we are living in. Can you imagine if Treasure Hunt was shown again too?

I wonder if Interceptor will be the version which sounds like it has had swearing bleeped out, even though no one ever swore on the programme.

TV-AM presenter and former Central man Nick Owen was on Bullseye this evening. I thought TV Forum would like to know. This episode can be seen again at 01:00.

Is this the same Nick Owen that's on BBC Midlands Today?
