I don't understand why anyone would watch TV without AD in this day and age.

Has anyone seen Deal or no Deal on Pick TV? Are they showing the same episodes as Challenge [TV] have already shown or are they showing different episodes so they can burn them off quicker and forget this poor choice of programme acquisition ever happened?

"new to Challenge" according to the promos. I hope they are just burning it off though. How are the ratings?

EDIT: Seems only the very first episode has made it into BARB's Top 10. You appear to be right, David!

New to Challenge as in previously seen on Channel 4 and More4. That term has nothing to do with whether Pick TV has aired them or not.

Well, PickTV is nowadays a case of how cheaply can you fill a 24/7 channel.

The GAME British Academy Video Games Awards is happening tonight at 9pm.
http://www.bafta.org/games/awards/

Challenge[TV] are showing it, but not tonight. They are waiting until 11pm on Sunday night. Which seems an odd place to dump it. Why buy it if they didn't want it? They are also repeating it on Monday night too. I'm sure it will be rubbish, but they should give it a chance.

GAME may have gone in to administration by Sunday.

I'm pretty sure this is some legacy Bravo deal - don't recall them bothering last year though (although there was a lot less trails etc. this time last year).

Challenge[TV] viewers will be interested to know that despite what is published by some TV listings magazines, Win Lose or Draw [Late] is presented by Liza Tarbuck and not Bob Mills.

Challenge[TV] viewers will be disappointed to know that despite what is published by some TV listings magazines, Bafta Video Games Awards - Winners' Programme is presented by Dara O'Briain and not Vernon Kay (unless it is a completely different programme to the one shown live on the Bafta website on Friday evening).

Challenge [TV] really let themselves down with their programme information, both what is published offline and on the EPG. Series 3 of Bullseye starts on Monday but you wouldn't know it from the EPG (or from the complete lack of promotion on the channel itself).

The EPG doesn't even tell you the presenter of programmes when they have had more than one. This is obviously because they use the same description for every episode of every series of each programme. They have been caught out mentioning Jim Bowen on the EPG while showing a Dave Spikey episode of Bullseye, Richard O'Brian when showing Ed Tudor Pole episodes of The Crystal Maze or as has recently been reported, Bob Monkhouse when showing a Les Dennis era episode of Family Fortunes. Now they tend to leave the presenter's name off the EPG entirely. With the exception of The Crystal Maze, they don't even highlight Christmas episodes on the EPG. Why is this such a hard thing for them to get right? Other channels manage to give episode information on the EPG, even other Sky owned channels which are presumably played out from the same facilities.

The problem dates back to the database held by Flextech/Red Bee. Sky obviously haven't seen fit to go through the entire database and sort it out.

Because there are more voices in your head than there are people looking at the detail of Challenge[TV]'s schedule.

And even you're not that interested, or you'd constantly be remarking that old episodes of various programmes featuring ME loop in perpetuity. I can't buy a salad box or umbrella without some shopkeep or other remarking that they've seen me that week.

Unless you know but don't care. That's it, isn't it - you KNOW, but you DON'T CARE.

Well you've got to live with yourself.

I can imagine you regularly visiting your local salad box store and trying desperately to start a conversation about The Weakest Link with anyone who will listen so that you get the opportunity to casually mention that you were once a contestant on the show. Or maybe you order lots of umbrellas online and get strange looks from the delivery driver because you have filled the 'Special Delivery Instructions' text field with anecdotes about meeting Jasper Carrott. But what's this? The text field is only 256 characters, so you have to place another order for another umbrella so you can complete the anecdote and get to the payoff which is actually nothing more than a rubbish pun based on the phrase 'Golden Balls'. Before you know it, you are getting several elongated deliveries a day and your friends and family start worrying and beg you to seek professional help. They are somewhat relived when you apply to BBC Three's "Help, My flat is full of unwanted umbrellas". Little do they know that another TV appearance on a fast repeat channel like BBC Three is just going to make your problem worse. I'm right, aren't I? AREN'T I?

Unless you know but don't care. That's it, isn't it - you KNOW, but you DON'T CARE.

Well you've got to live with yourself.

I am aware of your appearance on The Weakest Link and Golden Balls. I made a comment on the former here but I am yet to see the later.

I have also seen popular TV Forum contributor Pete on Question Time and TV Forum owner and moderator Asa on Quizmania (this clip also features TV Forum celebrity Greg Scott)

Be sure to also watch Let Me Entertain You, The Interrogators, 19 Keys and such and such. You may need to subscribe to a wider package of channels to facilitate these viewings, or date someone with a better package than yours.

You're wrong. Very wrong.

Pete has never been a popular contributor, as he's the first to admit.

Absolutely.

Popular yes, but he contributes NOTHING.
