On this webpage : http://quizzical.challenge.co.uk/sounds/ isn't the 'Game_Over.mp3' file the sound effect on the Windows XP 3D Pinball (Space Cadet). I am almost certain that sound features on the game somewhere.
Sadly, the AD on the hand jive is a missed opportunity for comedy...

Crazy! Google Chrome thinks it's not the right site:

SSL Error
This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach challengetv.co.uk, but instead you reached a server identifying itself as secure.sky.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of challengetv.co.uk. You should not proceed.
Obviously, Sky.com is genuine, so it's a false positive, but they should've coded the site so that such error messages wouldn't appear.
And there's no way we should be able to see that IBM Server page. It should be 403 Forbidden, as the other links you posted now are.
The continuity announcements are getting better. The first episode of Bullseye at 20:00 was the last in the series (and the last Sunday show) and the second episode at 20:30 was the first in a new series (and the first Saturday show). The CA actually mentioned the fact that it was a new series before the second episode. This may be basic practice for CA on other channels but this is something new for Challenge. Half the time the CA makes no reference to the programme at all. I have seen Christmas episodes introduced with no mention of Christmas at all. So, well done Challenge. You are getting better.
Sadly, they are still editing the programme really badly. Especially when it comes to meeting the contestants and showing Bully's Star Prize at the end.
Here is an example of what Challenge broadcast this evening...
[media:59321ce917]http://up.metropol247.co.uk/davidlees/bullsete_super_sperm.flv[/media:59321ce917]
and here is how it was broadcast on ITV back in the early 90s...
In other news, Challenge seem to being paying for subtitles on more and more programming. 3-2-1 is now subtitled, it wasn't during the previous run, so that's good then.
and here is how it was broadcast on ITV back in the early 90s...
I think you'll find that was an outtake. Note Jim saying **** at the end of the clip.
That did not go out on ITV in 1992, not in that form anyway.
That's more likely been "borrowed" from an outtake show.
In fact a comment on the YouTube video it's come from suggests it's part of a longer skit in which the contestant repeats the entire outtake again without thinking.
A couple of weeks ago someone points out that Vernon Kay didn't present an episode of Top of the Pops in 1976 and today I find out that ITV didn't broadcast an episode of Bullseye where Jim Bowen says "bollocks". You learn something new in this thread every fortnight, you really do.
Let me pay the forum back by offering this 'fact'. One of the six gorgeous girls in this clip from 3-2-1 is the mother of H from Steps, but can you guess which one?
