New look CBBC

Cbeebies certainly needs a new one then - it definitely isn't app icon friendly. The current one has been in place since it launched in 2002, and this will be the fourth CBBC logo it will have been used alongside.

From what I've see it's got more in common with BBC Three than this...

(sigh)... I wake up, and CBBC changes it's logo. The logo is... a thing, at least, but it's a bit too abstract. At least, for my liking.

Whilst this would be a damn shame, it might prompt the return of CBBC to BBC One/Two.

Will be interesting to see how it animates. I'll try to reserve judgment for now..

I'd have thought that a Cbeebies rebound would be a bigger job than most, they have lots of generic interstitials that include the blobs and they appear in the background of some of their bedtime stories and the like.

It still works well I think, and of course the kids who watch it don't care how old or trendy it is

I am not convinced by this. It looks more CBeebies than radio 1 tale of the age range. The one thing I thought CBBC need to do was group up a bit. This is going the other way. ☹😔
