Good job Jamez! It's in Gill Sans to go with the BBC flow - Kate Sanderson will be in her element! Really like it!
BTW:
No-one's replying about the CBBC 1991-94 ident: I wanna see!

Broadcast
magazine said the other week that Lambie-Nairn had been commissioned to create new CBBC idents including those for
CBBC Playbox
(the under-5's service on BBC3) and the other new CBBC 'channel which will run daytime on BBC4 (currently Knowledge).
The new idents on CBBC1/2 will probably appear when the new channels do. Email is childrens@bbc.co.uk if you wanted to ask them any questions direct.
Don't get too excited Conrad, I very much doubt anything new is going to happen on Monday!
Cheers, Asa
You were right, hardly anything has changed! Only a another colour of yellow slowly sloshing around.

According to the Radio Times, Newsround's Kate Sanderson will be presenting the news on Breakfast all next week which also comes live from Edmonton and the World Athletics Championships. I think main presenter is Bowen in London with Hazel Irvine in Canada with Kate Sanderson at the news desk.
So we're stuck with Lizo and Matthew for next week then? Oh dear. Kate Sanderson may not a paragon of her craft but at least she's better than the flat 'comedy' of Lizo Mzimba and the sheer awful hackwork of Matthew Price.
It makes a change seeing Matthew in the studio! Usually he's not let out the web/gallery room!

Well she may stay on and do all the programmes!! Radio Times says with her and Lizo - does it always say that?!

And so will she be the latest Newsround presenter to make it to the national news? I see Chris Rogers was presenting Sky News Sunrise yesterday and Julie Etchingham was presenting Breakfast this morning.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kate did leave Newsround; I think she'll be good on Breakfast although without her Newsround would be awful; Matthew is good as a journalist but Lizo is awful, and it's about time the set and graphics package had a total overhaul - the set and graphics they used from about 1997 until last year were fine; now they've got that awful music and tacky typewriter font and it's just awful! Maybe David Lowe could come up with yet another variation on the BBC News theme for them?!

Is this 'BBC Playbox' replacing CBBC on Choice then?
And are you saying that this new CBBC channel will run in the daytime on Knowledge (as it is called at present). I thought BBC4 was to take a 'Radio 4' feel.
And does it mean BBC4 won't transmit until 6/7pm? I really like BBC Knowledge and watch it in the daytime. This is a real shame if it happens. Why can't they just keep CBBC on Choice and rebrand it and make another CBBC channel (for older kids) on another frequency (or whatever they're called)?
Or am I being a little stupid with these ideas?
PS: Where's this Broadcast magazine? Is it on the net or do you have to buy it?
