New look CBBC

I heard them say at the end of CBBC today that they're launching a new look CBBC on Monday. I know it has been speculated for some time, and now it's finally happening! Quite exciting as I detest the current style, not that I watch it though but must endure the two minutes or so before Neighbours every day!

That will mean that CBBC on Choice will have a new set and new look too then. It might be to fit in with the proposed CBBC digital channel.

I heard her mention a 'new look' but after listening to her mention it again, I'm sure she said it's for Sunday's morning CBBC show and new look as in new games etc..

I could be, and hope that I'm wrong. I'm not sure. Surely they didn't decide that quickly on the new look? Also, I saw some animation sequences in the current style for next week's themed week. (I forget what it's called)

Come to think of it, the woman said that there would be a new show on CBBC weekdays - for the young kids in the summer holidays. Maybe you got confused Chris. Then again, maybe not!

The Themed Week is called Eek Week. BTW, I think they should bring back the old CBBC logo, with different shaped letters. 'C |B|B|C|' is just boring.

I'm sure they were inviting bids for people to redesign CBBC and this wasn't so long ago so I really doubt they will have done anything by now.

They are - CBBC won't relaunch until the start of the new season at the earliest. Lambie-Nairn is among the 5 or so companies who are developing their ideas for a new-look CBBC. I don't think they've even decided on which agency they want to do it, yet, or whether they'll choose their in-house team to come up with the new look! As long as they keep good old Angelica and gorgeous Adrian, that's all I'm bothered about!

I hope we get a new non-corporate logo.

I liked the yellow 'fridge magnet' one which they used until the 97 relaunch.

Now I know why the presenters looked extra happy today! I'm getting goosebumps now - yes, I know I'm 15, I know I shouldn't be watching it at this age, but COME ON! I NEED TO GET THE VIDEO READY!!! : and just plain HAPPY!
