The new look is now available on Freeview with new bridges for all channels and the bar at the bottom is new too. Channel 51 and the Index have also had a facelift.

I guess it looks the same as the new service on Sky and Cable.

It's similar, with less content obviously.

701 and 702 have new screens as well now.

Oooh and a few more. It's looking more like Ceefax now.

A pity they didn't invest in a calendar as well.

It might have told them that the 29th of March is a Tuesday.

That weird blobby red pattern was on 701 and 702 last night before TV on Trial started - a very spaced-out animation simply repeating again and again.

An improvement - and the page number box at the top looks more in place - though they still need to sort out the actual numbering.

A few problems to note - no link to "News" on the bridge - just to News Multiscreen - while on CBeebies there are only links to the CBeebies pages - you need to know the page numbers otherwise.

The white fasttext strap at the bottom looks nice, though doesn't fit as naturally as the black version.

I do wish though that especially now the bridge has changed that the old BBCi Home and blue fasttext link was reintroduced. The Index service is nice, but not as the main BBCi menu.

I thought all the pages would be red, white, black, but news is still red/orangish and sport is blue/yellow.

I think that the black/white/red look was only to be implemented on the bridges (except for CBBC and CBeebies, of course).

That's because the majority of people accessing the bridge from CBeebies will want CBeebies interactive services rather than the news or the weather.
