New look for BBC1

Probably business as usual. I can't see Haka and Ballet coming out of the cupboard.

But don't forget that tomorrow night, BBC1 programmes end at 1:10am in all nations and regions except Northern Ireland , where they'll have the Sign Zone finishing at 2:40am .

So an extra few last dances in Belfast...

I would expect to see longer idents than usual tomorrow. I have a feeling we must just get a glimpse of BALLET before BBC ONE joins BBC News 24.

I wonder if we will be treated to a RHYTHM, MOVEMENT & DANCE montage before joining BBC News 24. There is enough flexibility in the system for it at that time of morning.

Seems I will have to change my signature from BBC ONE to BBC One...

another possibility is that we get a dancer compilation mixed in with the infamous rush hour promo back at their launch.

Another thought... it will be odd to see that big red box disappear and be replaced with white 'BBC one' - almost harks back to the BALLOON era when it was centred at the bottom of the screen!

Would doubt it... they would never refer to BBC one in article/press release etc... as it is the name of the channel it would have to be BBC One instead of BBC ONE. Of course on air it will be referred to as BBC one. Guess we will see...

Just to add - as it is the last day of being able to play idents I would guess they will use longer idents in junctions.

Perhaps the sort of send-off we get (on both Network and NI) might depend on what announcer is on duty at the time.

It was Festival into To Buy Or Not To Buy, which was played clean for a longer few seconds than normal before the announcer spoke.
