That one for me, and the one with the shopping precinct lads who leap up and down - with the original soundtrack as used in Scotland.

Bollywood was my favourite. It was at least fun and lively.

As stunning as a drab and dreary dockyard on a cloudy day can get I suppose.
I'm gonna side with the Humble grumble on this one; Skateboarders is a beautiful ident. It's well shot, has a gorgeous theme and is easily the best of the bunch. Except Festival of course!!
I'm having a memory-block moment. What happens in Festival?

Wow, this is so weird. It takes me back to when the 2s and the balloons bowed out in 2001/2...there were massive threads documenting each ident as they were shown that day, and a live chat excitingly counting down to the last one.
Am I right in saying that the last dancer ident will be shown just before BBC News 24 at 1:10am, and the first circle one just before Saturday Kitchen at 10am? I forget whether they have an ident into Breakfast or not.
Someone should document every dancer ident shown on the last day, like we did for the 2s in 2001! If they're bored. Or something.

You volunteering? Start a new thread called something like "save the last dance for me" or perhaps something simple like "The Last Day of The BBC One Dance Troupe"

On a lighter note, there must be clips of the BBC1 Idents where things didn't go according to plan - a few outakes? I'm sure they must have had several goes at filming Skateboarders or Tumbler for example, before they stopped falling over or tripping over their skateboard?
Perhaps they could show a few of these tomorrow as well as full length farewell idents in their entirety before the programmes?
It would be funny to see one of the Skateboarders spoon himself onto the floor!

I mentioned earlier in the thread how I thought the so-called "exclusive" BBC ONE font face looked very much like one already in the public domain. I think I've found it:
A little poem!
Yes, a few characters are a bit different especially the lower case Y, but this is a good likeness. Can anyone identify it? I think Alliance Pharmacy uses it too.
