I have to say I am impressed with this new look. Logo is ten times better, and the idents look good. It defintley makes it more inviting and good!

I found this while trawling the internet for articles about the new BBC one idents.
It's a great read and I think sums up perfectly the feeling we al have about presentation in general and the recent idents on BBC1.

Capoeira, Skaters and Acrobats are all nice. It's just some of the other idents that are awful, that tend to let the whole lot down.

BBC weeks begin on Saturdays.
And days start at 06:00hrs. Very confusing for some when setting VCRs to record overnight programmes.
Radio Times are no better, 'Repeated 4:45 Tuesday' when it is actually 04:45 Wednesday', still Auntie and her friends know best it would seem.

As stunning as a drab and dreary dockyard on a cloudy day can get I suppose.
I'm gonna side with the Humble grumble on this one; Skateboarders is a beautiful ident. It's well shot, has a gorgeous theme and is easily the best of the bunch. Except Festival of course!!
