They could do what Channel 4 does and do all the speaking before the BBC One logo appears.

These are set up more though for the announcer to speak after the formation.

I'm sure they'll be short versions too.

At the end of the strictly come dancing advert, it didnt have the shutters. it only had the SCD with at the side the info.

...saw the idents in a preview in a news article in Metro Newspaper earlier this week.... first impressions it looked like the sky one logo, especially when referring to the 'one' text... it looks cheap, but from what I read, they have spent quite abit on the rebrand and have featured different places in the UK as backgrounds for the idents..... Goodbye old Idents and hello to the new ones!

Great thanks! Very Happy

Now I've seen them all I definately think "kites" will be for the news. It of course means that all the regional names have their own seperate versions done in post-production as the some of the kites fly across the logo (rather than just slapping on the "BBC ONE SOUTH WEST" et al over a pre-recorded graphic - as with ITV1)

I sure everyone knows what I mean by that Shocked

Just after "Green Green Grass" a trailer ended with several vertical "shutters/columns" of red that moved randomly across screen...some 'see-through' red, others solid...ended with solid red screen with white text like with the horizontal "shutters".

Just looked like it was in the same style as the title sequence of the programme it was advertising. Shame they started to get adventurous just before the rebrand. Can't see the shutters remaining, personally

I agree, the "shutters" will definately disappear next weekend. Like you say, sad they get daring just before the rebrand.

Do you think as part of the new look they'll start using 'programme pointers' at the end of programmes? I hope not - and i don't think they will but they did trial it about two years ago.
