BTW - does anyone know if one of these new idents will be reserved for "periods of national reflection" like Ballet was?
You were right, though. The dancers will have been around longer than the balloons by 07-October.
If the dancers and balloon idents were to have had an equal length of time on TV, the new idents should have launched last Saturday, giving both the balloons and dancers 1,638 days on-air.
If we take 1,645 days as being the mean average, we can expect new idents on BBC One on the morning of Saturday, 9th April 2011.
