How do they look half-hearted? Compared to a bunch of people dancing in more-or-less the same place on screen, sometimes against rubbish backdrops, and not doing all that much, they look brill. I think loads of different, well-shot images, the logo forming in place, and different things continuing to happen to the image until the end can hardly be described as half-hearted! And yet, there is still some simplicity - with an o.t.t. logo, they would look too much - too jazzy. Aren't they modern and fresh-looking? Also, to think that the images aren't all computer-generated, such as kites, where people are actually doing something quite impressive and artistic at the same time, is really clever! I think they look great, and are just what was needed. My only criticism would be that there is now so much inconsistency in the way the BBC brands itself - they do need to do something to link their branding again - perhaps replecating the 'one' style across other channels would do it. So the light red Robin Hood box was a white elephant after all...
