Agreed. I prefer it like that. And given that Marksi has said it goes under the 'one', I guess that's where it'll be.
Actually that looks ok - but "yorks & lincs" will still need to be abbreviated, as will "ne & cumbria" both will look a tadge small. I suspect the nations might have theirs directly underneath the whole logo though to allow for more space.

I suppose that 'Yorkshire & Lincolnshire' and 'North East & Cumbria' could be split into two lines of text.

Good thinking Spencer - I suppose there is the space now - and for "Northern Ireland" if they wanted to retain uniformity.
I hope we are treated to more full clean versions of the "dancers" by BBC1 NI before they go. It was nice to see the full tumblers, and skateboarders has been my favourite, but that never seen that as a full clean version.

Wow, what a difference from when the Dancer's press release went out!! I know we only have pics and one video but it sounds
really
promising. Visually impressive is what I wanted to see and they seem to have done it. The circle theme gives so much more freedom over future ideas. If Bikes is anything to go by, we have a nice intro before the anno kicks in too and no more box permanently onscreen! Happy to see they've kept a bit of the red but loosened it's necessity.
Overall - some decent post production has clearly gone into it and nice tune too by the sound of Bikes.
Looking forward to Surfer and Kites personally

Kites and Ring a Rosey are the ones I eagerly anticipate.

Me too, but I am wondering which we will be treated to at 6am on 7th October. I think Bikers is abit too racey for that time of the morning; Moon would be inappropriate so I think Kites or Petals would probably be the best as an easy start to the day.
* will be setting Sky+ in readiness

EDIT: Just thought, "Flats" would be best as it would be sunrise! Quite appropriate really
