Hey marksi, I remember a few weekws ago someone called podder was trying to convince us that he knew someone who knew what the new images would be like! He said we would all hate them. I am so now convinced he was a t.o.s.s.pot! In such a short time since their press release, they have had some very positive feedback on here and on other forums! Do you like them better than the dancers marksi?

I do like them - I think they're visually much more interesting than the present idents and provide much more impact on screen.

Just to answer a question before someone asks it, you'll see BBC ONE Northern Ireland again, rather than BBC ONE NI.

Edit: Just seen your response. I'm now feeling very predictable. Anyway, that's good news in my book.

They look more planned and thought out than people just dancing in a place where there's a bit of red. Oh and I wonder if the computer generated ones will look as out of place as the balloons when they were done with CGI.

Excellent set of idents, much better than I hoped for especially seeing as ITV let us down with their rebrand

These look quite classy & not too "in your face".

Agreed. I prefer it like that. And given that Marksi has said it goes under the 'one', I guess that's where it'll be.

Oh... and the red will remain but be "toned down" apparently.
