New look for BBC1

The ballet ident was just shown before Weatherview on BBC ONE Wales.

So it does appear that the pres people are making use of the rarely shown idents before the revamp.

I wonder what the last ever programme junction with the dancer idents will be like? A compilation of all the dancer idents maybe....

Why do people always guess this will happen? Has it EVER happened in the past? More than likely, the last announcement will be just like any other.

Apparently the girl in the icky music video symbol get's her boobs out. It was an outtake to a "wardrobe malfunction", but I understand that there WILL be boob on show for the last night of the dancey idents.

It would be nice if both Network and Nations go out the previous night (Friday 6th if rumours are correct) playing longer versions and maybe making reference to the change - I don't fancy a repeat of "through the night now on BBC ONE with BBC NEWS 24". Odds on the staggered end into N24 are slim I guess.

All we need now is a week beforehand of Ballet, Haka and Tai Chi Rotate!

Could always end the evening with Peter Kay's Hip Hop skit for Comic Relief

Why has Haka not been shown much (at all) recently?

Friday 6th does seem like a sensible date for Network to show it, right before N24. Shame they don't always make mention of these changes, but hopefully they will do on this occasion.

In response to Simon's comment, I myself don't expect the globe to re-appear; and while I hope the new look has a set of visually consistent idents, ideally with some sort of symbol, and a strong soundtrack, I honestly haven't been impressed with Red Bee, so I'm not optimistic by any means.

Is that said with knowledge, or on analysis of the way TV Pres is moving tvarksouthwest ?
