There was something new last night (at least I'd never seen it before) in a trail for the new series of Spooks.
It ended with the usual shutter effect, but instead of plain red, the background was black and the shutters were made of horizontal interference bars.
Boxed red BBC ONE logo remained.
The style of this promo, is in style of the [ spooks ] branding, Im sure on youtube or something there are the spooks titles, and you will see that the concept from the spooks branding, has been used on thr promo.

That's probably more to do with the black used in the titles. It's fairly obvious that the red box will be saying because during trailers they're starting to do more with it.
My theory is that BBC One will have its revamp on Monday the 2nd of October. I only say that because I'm going on holiday on that day, and my holidays always seem to coincide with major TV channel revamps. All the ITV channels last relaunched the day I went on holiday, Channel 5 changed to five the day I went on holiday... OK well that's about it, but I still stand by my theory.
Well Spooks starts in September according to their website, and that Maria crap on Saturdays finishes next week, so that's all pointing to a September new season - and hence relaunch?

What do you mean September new season? In TV Land - the Autumn season always begins at the beginning of September and ends at Christmas.
