New look for BBC1

If what happened in these instances applies to the current rebrand then won't it mean we would be seeing the relaunch within the next week or so?

As for the content of the idents - all we know is that the BBC box logos are staying and BBC One may have straps similar to the shutters idea, but I've not heard anything other than that.

Another point I've just thought of is that if the idents are already in the process of being uploaded to the servers, won't there be a chance (albeit slim) of one of the new idents being played out instead of one of the current ones?

I Think in the future when advertising new programs on BBC ONE , they will try an animate the box logo. Which has been used already for THE SEA, Robin Hood and Spooks.

With about a month to go, is there any chance of the Haka or Ballet idents making a re-appearance before the dancers are retired, whether it be on Network or one of the Nations?

Everyone seems to be sure that the box is staying but i haven't heard anything saying that it is. How do you know?

We now the box will stay becouse when BBC4 had a new look it had the box so it makes sence to have the box on every channel.

But that was quite a while ago now, and it was BBC4. BBC4 would follow BBC1 not the other way round.

I think they should keep the backgrounds from the dancer idents but remove the dancers and put some CGI on top.

I think BBC1 should have UK landmarks with a CGI earth over the top.

I quite like a mock that was on TVF ages ago, suggesting a possible new look for BBC One - loads of CGI red cubes tumbling around an outdoor scene.

Only problem with that idea is that TV commercials for Abbey (formerly Abbey National) use the "red cubes" idea - and I'm sure BBC One doesn't want to look like it's sponsored by Abbey...

That's not sufficient evidence! Just because BBC FOUR kept them doesn't mean BBC ONE will!
