I was watching BBC ONE when I saw an advert for 'The Sea' and I noticed at the end that the BBC ONE logo transforns into a logo like the BBC ONE but all the lettering has been replaced with THE SEA. Thought this might be the first graphical improvement to be seen before new look.


I said I wouldn't be back until something was confirmed but I saw a trailer for BBC1's 'The Sea' season. It looks like that the BBC1 box moving like that is all tied into a lighthouse animation. It was on just before The Chase tonight so the trailer will probably be on again tonight.

So we know that the new idents will debut on September 2nd after the news at 12:10pm and the figure 1 will return.

Wicko's comments seemed plausible and then halfway through what he said made you think that he was making it up.

Incidentally, this is the guy who thought vandals had broken into the South Today studio. Nobody shout "fire" for goodness sake.

He started making up really implausible information to show the whole thing was a joke.

Fact is, absolutely no-one knows when the idents will debut, and similarly, no-one knows what the look will encompass.

Information on this will become available with time, though.

I heard that the idents will feature a 1 tattooed on Graham Norton's ****.
