Hardly a significant day or time. There was nothing special about the date either.


Though to be fair, that would have been dictated by the change of the corporate logo more than anything else.

(Incidentally, the first time I saw the new logo was on the bottom of the full time results on Grandstand, and I presumed somebody did a bodge job of recreating the logo because the computer had crashed or something. Not interested? Sod ya then.)

If these are real, do yiou think that they will stick to the 'box-rule', or do you think that the logo will be released from the box, and they have 'thought outside of the box' Razz?

I think we'll still see the box but I wonder if BBC1 will break free from the red colours, I doubt we'll see the globe again. Just have the feeling that they'll be using a '1' . As for BBC2 I think we'll be saying goodbye to a white '2' on a yellow background and that there will be more variety just like in the old days.

I'd be very surprised if they drop the signature colour, or the phrase "The One". Everything else is pretty much up for grabs.

i originally thought a '1' would be used, but i feel that the bbc have been working since the last rebrand to stop being known as BBC 1 but as BBC One , so it would be a backwards step...

I don't think I've ever seen spectacularly wrong dates on TV Ark. Maybe it was another forum. Anyway are we due news soon about idents?

Indeed. Simon would never get a date wrong on TV Ark, not even by mistake, and he would never guess if he wasn't sure.
