What makes you think it's the CA's that decide the idents or what goes out? Just cos it's their voice that you hear on air doesn't mean that they decide what they're going to talk over. But yes, there are people who work in the presentation areas who read the posts on these forums - and some of us at times try to take notice of what is said! Nice to know that all of us in network can sometimes make you happy! Glad you enjoyed the montage!!

I've been trying to put up a capture of the closedown, but my H.264 encoder is having a fit, so I'll try and get it up tomorrow.

I've taped the NI closedown, but missed it. What happened?

Seemed slightly rushed and not as "graceful" as Network.

Ended with Skateboarders, but even that final symbol was cut short; so in contrast to 2002, Network gave us the better finish this time!

Montage of Festival, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Music Video, Tapdogs, and ending with a similar announcement to the network one, but over Skateboarders.

My copy's a bit messed up, though, as I had to turn down the volume so I didn't wake up everyone else in the house, so you can barely hear anything. Still good that they did something too!

...and now for sleep.

And Northern Ireland gives us another montage to say goodbye to the dancers.

Probably because they had to join News 24 at the top of the hour.

If they'd left out the trail after Panorama, they could have shown another ident, but God forbid that anything should stop BBC1 showing its precious trailers!

Ahh, you've not missed much. Laughing

OK so who managed to record the montage of all the last DANCERS -I was busy and missed it Shocked . I have Sky + set for the 10am "circle" launch, but we've already seen them all (I even sent a DVD to my sister of them, and I bet she wasn't even interested!)
