New look BBC Sport

At the end of Grandstand earlier I got a few screen caps you can find them at http://www.caldecote57.freeserve.co.uk/caps/index.htm. They aren't great quality but thats because my tv reception is awful(Thats why on the TV Home forum I say that I havn't got TV Card Capability!). Anyway the page will take a while to load but you can read why on the page. Also I saw the end of Match of the Day and saw another example of the BBC being lighthearted about loosing Premiership highlights, to roughly quote Gary Lineker 'Thats all from our early evening experiment, no doubt someone will copy it!' - Hehe what fun.

Well I suppose if they didn't laugh, they'd cry!! I do like the new studio!

Hooray, I've finally found you.  Thanks to cheshirec for pointing me in the right direction.  The studio is ok, I didn't like the final score graphics though yesterday.  I have shots of ITV Sport Channel & Goal Rush on my website if you want to take a look.  

Yeah the new studio is very nice, I love that spinning G in the screens on Grandstand is very nice.

Yeah, Me too.  It's nice to see them using a set that's actually 'real' and not CSO'd as most of them have been over the last decade or so!!

I aldo like the ITV Sport Channel set, it's a shame ITV News can't take a leaf out of their book and do something with that mish mash of colours!!

It sure does. Perhaps the Beeb are hoping that improving their sports presentation will make up for the fact that they haven't got many sports left to present in the first place!!

Yeah, maybe on some days Grandstands they will just take us walking through the studio or invent new sports like pillow fighting on the new sofas, high jump onto level 2....!

Well anythings possible thanks to the unique way the BBC is funded.....But seriously the ammount of ex athletes, tennis players and footballers they have there they could have a decent chance the next olympics!!

What a happy day that would be in my mind, but very sad for the state of the BBC, unless they just decided to show that at 12pm on a Monday morning for a change to Wipeout, then I suppose it would be ok, you could have Bob on at the end when the whole new studio collapses when all of the comentators and presenters just end up having a huge fight when there is debate over who cleared the railings by the most, and Bob could say 'That wipes me out' - God how cheesy is that, anyway back to the topic

Mich, maybe you have a little too much free time on your hands!!
Although I wouldn't grumble about paying my license fee if they showed that as a one off!
