I've got nothing to compare the graphics with but I'm quite impressed. Definate improvement.

It's better than the Beeb but not a patch on Soccer Saturday from Sky.
Especially with Sky's guests.

Haven't got Sky Sports so I can't compare.

Anyone got any stills of Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday.

BTW: What does Sky now show then? I mean in terms of Football.

Did anyone see Sportscene on BBC Scotland this afternoon? While BBC Nat was using those awful purple and yellow gfx, BBC Scotland took the BBC News generic red and cream colours and made a really nice screen! I meant to capture it but had to go out.. sorry!

I'm not a great footie fan so I'm not sure what Sky show, but there's a hell of a lot of it!
Whilst we are on the subject of sports channels can anyone get the headline bed for Sky Sports News?
It's the most fantastic theme tune I've heard, on any channel, for a long long time.
I'll get some pictures of Soccer Saturday ASAP. But it's much better than the other two - the screen is bigger and they fit in the same amount of info in a small space.
The printer at the bottom of the screen is faster and they sometimes expand it out so you can see all of the scores coming in.
The presenters and guests are also excellent. George Best is on Soccer Saturday normally.

I've never heard Sky Sports News headline bed before. Can someone please get it!

Mike - TV Home had the Sky Sports News ident up but I think it's down due to bandwidth issues.

Anyone seen the adverts airing on ITV1 at the moment, with Nick Hancock interviewing members of the public asking them who has more football, ITV Digital or Sky ?

This advert makes me believe that ITV are not seeking a carriage deal for the ITV Sport Channel on Sky Digital at the moment. And I guess why would they, they'll use it as a carrot to dangle in front of potential subscribers. For anyone who is remotely interested about this, ITV do have loads more footie than Sky, with the Premiership available on Sky Sports and Live Champions League, all 3 Nationwide Leagues, Worthington Cup and Pay Per View Premiership from the ITV Sport Channel. If you are a footie fan, you have to have ITV Digital !
