BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

Sounds like it. Correct me if I'm wrong but if it's to do with Media Planning - they could have not had much time to change the trails. I'm not sure to be honest.

NE&C had the rescue service - again!

It will be interesting to see how Radio Times readers have reacted to the swimmers and exercise class when it is published tomorrow. Either it won't be mentioned or there'll be a generic BBC comment to explain the reasoning behind the rebrand. RT usually show sides to both arguments. I'll be surprised if anyone's written in to say how much they like them!

So I wonder why Network and other regions are not using it yet! Have we got to spend all of February just watching Mountain Rescue and Wheelchair Rugby? Can't wait!

As bad as the dancers were... they never got the balloon out randomly.

I wish the Balloon was filmed in HD.

These are just really weird.

They're weird because the BBC don't know what to do with them. Some regions use the new Brecon Beacon one and others don't! Never have I seen such an odd and unprofessional rebrand.

You couldn't really say that any of the Dancers idents were inappropriate or offensive though. And they had enough if them to bring out the right one for the occasion. People tend to recall they showed the Ballet dancers when the Queen Mother died. It wasn't ideal but it wasn't offensive, as it would have been if they had shown BBC1 Festival. Showing BBC1 Swimmers before an episode of Eastenders in which 2 main characters drown in swimming pool is completely inappropriate. As is showing a Death in Paradise trailer just before Terror in Tunisia tonight.
