BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

BBC South just used the Swimmers ident for introducing a debate about the Southern Rail dispute.

The junction just now just goes to show how awful these idents are.

The announcement was telling us later about Panorama on how dozens of Britons were shot dead on a beach in Tunisia, all whilst our favourite keep fit class clapped and danced away.

Even if they used the ident with people in the sea in their swimming cozzies it wouldn't be much better.

Embarrassingly bad.

I'm dreading 8.30pm.

Nor Exercise Class nor Swimmers is suitable for introducing a programme on the Tunisia beach massacre. Mountain Rescue is far more suited for this.

After nine days of unsightly a*ses just as I'm tucking into my dinner, I cry out for anything different.

i didn't catch the ident, did they have enough budget left over for a tripod this time?

presumably, this ident is also shot on location within a short commuting distance of Mr Parrs private residence?

If its Mountain rescue I think there will get away, and some one in the pres department at the BBC still has sense. IF not here comes points of view over load. Mind you it might be worth seing NI. I have faith at this moment of time.

BBC One London aired the Swimmers ident (with the London tag).

At least the mountain rescuers are all in red. This is also something that is missing in the idents, just like some of the later circle idents. These new idents need a sound track/familiar jingle like itv.

Less than 10 minutes. I'm calling it a prediction - Mountain Rescue could be shown at 8.30pm.
