Good to compare the Network version with one of the Nations (Northern Ireland, here). Boy, that text is large.

Well I wouldn't say it was good. Pretty poor actually but the mark has now been set so low it appears amazing.

And we're back to the man boobs...
...it was so refreshing to talk about something over than this set of tripe for a short while.

Yeah it's just live footage with a BBC one huge logo over it, but compared to the usual rubbish, this suddenly looks better.
I can concur with Brekkie with this one. If this ident launched when the circles were still in service - it would have looked cheap, and poorly produced, but the standards of the Oneness 'idents' have been set so low that this ident can get some praise - as it's a refreshing departure from looking at a fitness class and swimmers turning their backs.

Part of me does agree with you, but having said that, it's a
great
deal better than all three of the most recent Circles additions prior to Christmas, the
Planet Earth II
set.

I thought they were a nice change, although there being no 'Circle' was slightly annoying.
I think of all the Planet Earth II idents, this one was the most visually appealing.
