Hi all I'm new to the site and forum and have been following this for a couple of years and look forward to reading the discussions.

I have to say though it's gone awfully quiet on the BBC one christmas ident front discussions. The BBC must keep it under wraps seeming it's only 2 weeks till December

All I have heard from very reliable sources is they are better than last year. That's all I need to know.
denton and Argybargy gave kudos

I don't necessarily want quotes, I want you to be clear when you are posting speculation rather than fact.

BBC Two will simply reuse their Christmas presentation from last year.

Oh, bold, wanting quotes

LOL, I love the idea that Steve is the bad guy for wanting to know if what you're saying is actually a statement of fact, not just an assumption dressed up as one.

Yes, all JKDerry needed to add to the statement was ‘I suspect’, because he doesn’t know for sure. The way they’ve posted makes it sound like he knows it to be fact. Something he does a lot by all accounts.*

*I tend to skip past most of JKDerry’s posts.

Thank you Jon, skip by if you wish, does not matter to me - these are just my opinions, that is all

No one has a problem with you giving opinions. You are presenting them as facts, that’s what people have a problem with.

At the 19:30 junction on HD it said to turn to SD to see your local programme but SD is showing the exact same programme. Is anyone else receiving an episode of Critical Incident on their region?

Also worth noting that TV Home says Question Time is on now:

A number of regions are showing various episodes of Canal Boat Diaries - all of which will then be shown on BBC4 later this week - but not all of them, hence Critical Incident as a filler for those regions that aren't.

The other day it was going to be Canal Boat Diaries at 7pm in those regions, opting out of The One Show, and Question Time at 7.30, but seemingly there's been various discussions about who does what when, so there's no Question Time and it's reverted back to the original schedule.

London and presumably network played out Critical Network.
