I get the impression Ghosts that currently airs at 9:30pm seems to look like being a CBBC rejected show they've just repackaged for BBC One.

This feeling is probably enhanced by the fact most of the cast appeared on Horrible Histories.

It's made by the same production team behind Horrible Histories and Yonderland.

For a comedy show they seem to have forgotten something. Even by BBC1 standards it’s dire.

Ghosts has been great so far I've thought. Funny, clever, lot of original ideas and a great ensemble cast.

I've never watched Horrible Histories so haven't made that connection. I'm sure if it was toned down a bit it would make a good kids show (or does owe a lot to Rentaghost after all), but it stands up fine on BBC1. As the reviews say it is a kids show made for adults, like HH is an adult show made for kids. That's fine by me, it's just silly and funny and not taking itself seriously and that's great

However it probably is on in the wrong slot as it could be a family watch. Apart from the fate of the MP and the slightly horrific 'accident' in episode 1 it's not been that child unfriendly so far

Have only seen the trailer and was horrified by the guy dressed as a Scout so don’t really want to watch. 😡

One little odd thing about Ghosts . Simon Farnaby's character - a disgraced MP who died in a sex scandal - is credited as Julian, but his character's name doesn't like up with the rest of the credits. Makes me wonder if his character originally had another name which was deemed too similar to a real MP, living or dead, or something.

Ghosts has gone down well in this household, compared to This Time in the same timeslot.

Just come across this on YouTube - CBBC continuity with the BBC One Dancers theme tune of the time. All we get is quiet now.
