Considering the directors in the nations probably had very little notice about the impending problem - and had a schedule pre-programmed - I'd say Al did quite well there actually. Remember, in Scotland, Wales and NI, the announcers are also controlling the playout system.

I'd say that's the best execution of programme breakdown continuity that I've seen on the BBC in many a year.

I guess the first the Nations director/announcers would have known of the issue was seeing the extra trail/menu on the network feed while they were introducing the programme.

For all three to have been a bit of a mess implies that the London director maybe hadn't had chance to warn them on talkback.

New 'One big day' sting with a wedding ring turning into a football.

Looks quite nice with the white background.

That and the trailer endboard look lovely, very fitting for a wedding, but a shame it can't be rolled out permanently.
