Well the original listing stated the concert would end at 12.50am so not sure where you got your preview time from. I suspect all BBC1 will preview it at the same time at 12.58am.

Is BBC1 Scotland carrying a separate Hogmanay show that finishes earlier, possibly?

Nope. More likely to be the 1am junction on BBC One NI/Wales/Network and BBC One Scotland at 1.30am.

They were but all they showed was trailers for BBC1 Scotland and then went into their Proclaimers documentary
