BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

Like the 'Symphony' section during the Fireworks in London. Just to rub it in that the good stuff has departed now

I personally never thought Oneness was just for 2017, I always thought it was going to continue. Seems like I was alone on here with this one.

In fact most of the lyrics felt like a piss take towards the Oneness dullness.

Yes, it was at the end of the 2017 mega-mix. I also thought it was very fitting.


ITV News don't play the music from the display, which is half of the enjoyment as it's intended to match some of the firework sequences. So their broadcast is always rather lacklustre.

Do broadcasters have to purchase rights to the music separately?

It was only something someone on this forum suggested, which quickly became a "fact"- which seems to happen all too often!

I have a feeling BBC One Scotland will stick with Christmas pres for the 12.30am junction.
