I think it's time for some members to accept that, like it or not, Oneness is staying put for now. I'm no big fan myself, by the way. But constantly complaining about them won't change a thing- they will be dropped when the BBC feel like doing so, not because we say they have to.
Didn't someone confirm on here that we are back to Oneness on 1st January? It doesn't surprise me at all.
Martin Parr confirmed on BBC Points West that the Oneness idents will return in January.
Whilst the fact they'll be back on air from January isn't any huge surprise, that he's mentioned he'll be shooting more next year suggests they've actually extended their deal to work with him. That was the only bit they actually originally said was a 12 month collaboration.
Unless he's just agreed to do some extra months in exchange for a plug for his new foundation on the BBC!

Shame the commissioning of
Oneness
doesn't fall under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, as they fail in both its main stipulations:
- Goods must be of satisfactory quality
- Goods must be fit for purpose
Pretty much all the English regions ending with a Christmas carol on their last full programme tonight, a couple even including end credits with the people who have put the programme together this year. One such example was South East Today, with the last credit bearing the name of the editor and a copyright caption - clearly not that good at their roman numerals in Tunbridge Wells, as they opted for MMXIV, or 2014!
There was a breakdown on BBC One about 5:50 this morning. Obviously the channel was taking BBC News at the time. However, I was surprised to see a BBC One breakdown caption appear.
It was the standard "We are sorry for the break in this programme..." slide on the festive red curtains. Then, the CA popped up to apologise.
Thought it was unusual, as on a Saturday there is no BBC One presentation from the early morning handover until around 10am. Didn't expect there to be a CA around.
Normally at that time there's the switch from BBC World control to Studio E's gallery.
But, it's the weekend and after the UK weather, it's into the countdown before the Breakfast studio goes live, and the presenters quietly stare at us for anything upto 2 seconds.
