A slightly longer version, now extended to 35", via use of the whole of Jason Derulo's 'Kiss The Sky' and not just solely from the trail (where the voice over covered the Indian sitar section):

I presume you want more praise for this video?

Well you can have it, well done - that cut would work particularly well as part of a fast-paced junction.

...and praise back to you too! I think you've demonstrated it could really work like this, for leading into the Strictly 2017 series each week.

Certain folks at BBC NI really like my cut. I, for one, would very much welcome such an new version for use in the NI territory only. They always have much more sense with their implementation of pres than London does. And, as a Londoner, I have to give cedit where credit is due.

That fake announcement style alone would make me watch more of BBC One. Poor Debbie.

A full intro sequence, and a better soundtrack.

I like that. Good work, sir.

That looks really good, entirely usable. The only thing I would suggest is trying to go to that final shot a second or so later so the transition happens as the music builds rather than just before it.

Thanks. Couldn't. The two shots needed to be joined such that there is maximum natural continuity, from the feathers the people are 'opening up' if you like, and into the hoops in the form up continuing that flow of movement.

Just created a 2nd cut, with use of footage from both the 40" and the 10" trails:

Any general comments, i.e if you think one works better than the other etc, are very welcome.

Good to see more of the female celebrities in this cut. The first was lacking a little.

Thank you for your valid comment, Andrew. Appreciate it.

The only thing about this 2nd cut, for me, is that the 3rd shot (with the vicar standing third from left) is not quite ideal, for my high standards. All the other people in that shot appear fine as the 3rd shot cuts to the 4th shot, but look at the vicar as 3rd shot cuts to 4th shot. His face, and particularly his leaning manoeuvre, appears a little odd, for me. I had to choose the in/out points extremely carefully to ensure the activity (i.e. the hands springing out, Debbie McGee making that facial expression etc) is synced up properly to the timing of the soundtrack. Therefore, it had to be as appears here, with the particular shots I selected. I am nit-picking in the extreme, though. I'm my own worst critic Smile

I posted cut 2 as there seemed to be a fair amount of interest and praise for cut 1, so thought it would be of interest to some people here. If you don't like it, just avert your gaze... and I'm not your mate.
