BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

Isn't it sad, us being pres fans and wondering about when more idents are to appear that everyone knows will be utter sh*t.

When you help collect pres u have to collect the awful pres aswell within reason.

I suppose, for the likes of myself and Andrew Wood, it's a bit like collecting beer mats. A really crappy beer mat comes out and you have to collect it and include it otherwise you have an incomplete set

Same goes for me and radio imaging, when I'm not making the stuff of course.

The whole thing has made me lose any enthusiasm I once had for TV idents. It's just...not interesting or good any more.

I still like the France 3 idents:

Tv idents are rubbish is all live action people idents mostly no graphics like the old cow ident

OK, is that all? cool. You have a very blinkered view on 'people idents' there are some awful CG idents as well.

A slightly longer version, now extended to 35", via use of the whole of Jason Derulo's 'Kiss The Sky' and not just solely from the trail (where the voice over covered the Indian sitar section):

Well you can have it, well done - that cut would work particularly well as part of a fast-paced junction.
