Or the dancing class Oneness ident that was teased at the start of the year. I dare say they’ll time it for the launch of Strictly.

Len Goodman's Partners In Rhyme which has already been commissioned for a 2nd series and a Christmas Special only achieved 1.21m in the ratings last night. Another Saturday flop to go alongside the likes of Don't Scare the Hare, that Puppet Gameshow and I Love my Country.

Bigger drop than last week’s 1.9 million, for sure.

Not long before next week’s episode dips below the million mark.

Think it's at 5.40 next week so it's not going to do great.

I don’t think it will be surprising if Partners in Rhyme gets pushed back earlier in the schedule, just as we’ve seen with Saturday night flops such as Don’t Scare the Hare, The Getaway Car and Can’t Touch This.

It's literally costs about 10p a show. You're getting very OTT about a show clearly designed as slot filler before pointless.

The last part of my post bordered onto being OTT having proofread it. Would agree on that note...

Otherwise, there isn’t much I can say about it now.

Yes, what happened to exercise class and swimmers? Have they been cut from our memories?

According to Wikipedia, they've been axed but that's not always true...

They haven’t been scrapped, just used sparingly. The local news slide on BBC ONE HD still uses Sea Swimmers, which does lead me to say that it is still part of the rotation.

It’s just that they’re used sparingly, because they have a range of more tasteful Oneness idents to use, and the fact that both Sea Swimmers and Exercise Class were poorly received at the time.

Maybe they're just considered to be more appropriate for the winter months - people working off the Christmas calories in Exercise Class, and swimmers braving the chilly sea in the depths of winter? I would guess the sunny, leafy, Allotment Holders might not be seen so much later in the year.

Or maybe given they were the only ones in use for the first month, they thought they'd show them less often to give the newer ones more airtime.
